.... I would have given exactly the same answer. The device (camera) has nothing to do with the doorbell; as mentioned, it runs "autonomously" battery-operated via the door viewer. !

This type is merely the door peephole, i.e. an alternative to the "analogue" peephole and completely autonomous to the doorbell
