The Arlo only works via a web account. So you are always dependent on Arlo.com.
It is possible to save the video to a USB memory, but this has to be set up and parameterised laboriously on the Arlo website.
Otherwise you have to buy a subscription to use the Arlo camera more easily.
The support from Arlo is poor and there are no answers to questions.
