Does anyone know if the lamps you get now when you order are better than the ones you got a little over a year ago, or do they still get waterlogged after a few months and break?
Otherwise, having to replace them after a year is pretty expensive.
Are there any alternatives?

Well, mine is about 6 months young and already defective.

My recommendation is the outdoorspot which is really great. (but not so bright)
