Yes, we bought a medium-sized Thule box and it can be easily mounted on the carriers. I can't say whether this applies to every Thule box, but I think that the assembly is always the same with the new Thule boxes. The 4 "grippers" of the Thule box, which are tightened around the two carriers, can be easily adjusted in length, so that even with different distances between the two carriers, depending on the vehicle, it is no problem to fix the box.
