The Shelly Pro 3EM-3CT63
is a DIN rail-mounted energy meter for single or three-phase applications. It is equipped with the full flexibility of Gen2 firmware and LAN connectivity, providing professional integrators with additional options for end-user solutions. It can operate independently in a local LAN and/or Wi-Fi network or through cloud home automation services using Modbus, MQTT, HTTP, and WebSocket. All incoming connections support TLS.

The device reports accumulated energy as well as instantaneous voltage, current, active power, and apparent power per phase/channel in real-time. It stores data in non-volatile memory, which can be retrieved over a period of up to 60 days in 1-minute intervals.

The device features a real-time clock that maintains the correct time in case the connection to an SNTP server is lost.

The Shelly Pro 3EM-3CT63 can be accessed, configured, and monitored remotely by the user, and the device can access and communicate with an automation system as long as they are on the same network.

The device has a built-in web interface that can be used to monitor and control the device as well as to adjust its settings.

Note: The device does not have a built-in relay. The control of the contactor is done through a Shelly Pro 3EM Switch add-on connected to the Shelly Pro 3EM-3CT63.

The my-PV Wifi Meter analyzes the current flows of the PV system. It transmits information about surplus power to the router via WLAN. This ensures that only the energy available at the moment is used for heat generation. Therefore, there is no feeding into the power grid: self-consumption of the PV system is maximized, relieving the public low-voltage network. The my-PV Wifi Meter is installed directly after the energy supplier's meter in the distribution cabinet and measures the load flow through three external clamp current transformers. The my-PV WiFi Meter comes standard with integrated 75 A current transformers. The new my-PV WiFi Meter no longer requires an Ethernet cable (LAN) and can be integrated into the home network via WLAN. This offers the advantage that connections from the meter cabinet to the router can now be established wirelessly. To ensure that signals from the meter cabinet, which is usually made of metal, can be transmitted and reach the desired target, an antenna with a 1 m cable is also included as standard. The functionality and view in the my-PV.LIVE Cloud remain the same as with the previous my-PV Power Meter. This offers the advantage that the transition for the customer is barely noticeable. We also see the new my-PV WiFi Meter as a guardian of the current flows of the photovoltaic system, ensuring everything runs optimally.
