Due to this arrangement, the system produces a high sound pressure and an omnidirectional radiation of 360 degrees. A high-performance ultrasonic generator with a C-MOS output stage drives the piezo loudspeaker. The piezo loudspeaker generates an ultrasonic sound of 22.5 KHz +/- 1 KHz, which is inaudible to humans. The sound level scares away martens and wild animals up to a range of approx. 350 metres via this special arrangement. The system switches on and off at a certain time interval.
