1. Victron Energy BlueSolar MPPT 150/60-Tr

MPPT controller with an efficiency of over 98%. Fast MPPT controller for maximum energy yield. Fully programmable charging algorithm. Protection against overheating and short circuits. The algorithm maximizes energy output. Rated PV power, 12 V: 860 W. Rated PV power, 48 V: 3440 W. Especially in overcast conditions, when light intensity is constantly changing, an extremely fast MPPT controller can improve energy yield by up to 30% compared to PWM charge controllers and by up to 10% compared to slower MPPT controllers. In the case of partial shading, there may be two or more maximum power points on the current-voltage curve. Conventional MPPTs tend to lock onto a local maximum power point, which may not be the optimal point. The innovative algorithm of this device maximizes energy yield by locking onto the optimal point. Fully programmable charging algorithm as well as eight pre-programmed algorithms that can be selected via a rotary knob. Overheating protection and load reduction at high temperatures. Protection against PV short circuits and PV reverse polarity. PV backflow protection.

2. Victron Energy SmartSolar MPPT

3. Victron Energy BlueSolar

The load output disconnects the loads when the battery has been discharged to a predetermined voltage level. Alternatively, an algorithm for intelligent battery management can also be selected. The load output is short-circuit proof. Some loads, particularly inverters, are best connected directly to the battery. The inverter remote control is best connected to the load output. In some cases, a special interface cable may be required.

The BatteryLife algorithm monitors the state of charge of the battery. If necessary, it raises the threshold for disconnecting the load day by day until the energy gained is sufficient to charge the battery to nearly 100%. From this point on, the threshold for disconnecting the load is modulated so that charging to nearly 100% is achieved approximately once a week. Options for displaying data in real-time are available for Apple and Android smartphones, tablets, and other devices.

5. Victron Energy Phoenix Charger

Adaptive four-stage charging characteristic: constant current ("bulk") phase, constant voltage ("absorption") phase, float voltage ("float") phase, storage voltage ("storage") phase The microprocessor-controlled 'adaptive' battery management system of the Phoenix charger can be adapted to different battery types. 'Adaptive' means that the charging characteristic is automatically adapted to the type of battery utilisation. The right amount of charge: adapted constant voltage time In the case of low battery discharge (e.g. a yacht connected to shore power), a short constant voltage phase is selected to prevent overcharging. After a deep discharge, the constant voltage phase is automatically extended to ensure that the battery is fully charged. Preventing damage due to excessive gassing: the battery protection mode In order to shorten the charging time, the highest possible charging current was selected together with a high constant voltage. However, to prevent excessive gassing towards the end of the constant current phase, the Phoenix charger limits the speed of the voltage increase after the gassing voltage has been reached. Less maintenance and ageing when the battery is at rest: storage mode Storage mode is always activated if no discharge has taken place within 24 hours. In storage mode, the charge retention voltage is then reduced to 2.2 V/cell (13.2 V for a 12 V battery) in order to minimise gassing and corrosion on the positive plates. Once a week, the voltage is increased to the level of the gassing voltage. This achieves a kind of equalising charge that prevents electrolyte stratification and sulphation - the two main causes of premature battery failure.

6. Victron Energy BlueSolar MPPT 100/50

MPPT controller with an efficiency of over 98%. Fast MPPT controller for maximum energy yield. Fully programmable charging algorithm. Protection against overheating and short circuits. The algorithm maximizes energy output. Rated PV power, 12 V: 700 W. Rated PV power, 24 V: 1400 W. Especially in overcast conditions, when light intensity is constantly changing, an extremely fast MPPT controller can improve energy yield by up to 30% compared to PWM charge controllers and by up to 10% compared to slower MPPT controllers. In the case of partial shading, there may be two or more maximum power points (MPP) on the current-voltage curve. Conventional MPPTs tend to lock onto a local MPP, which may not be the optimal MPP. The innovative algorithm of the BlueSolar device maximizes energy yield by locking onto the optimal MPP. Fully programmable charging algorithm as well as eight pre-programmed algorithms that can be selected via a rotary knob. Overheating protection and load reduction at high temperatures. Protection against PV short circuits and PV reverse polarity. PV backflow protection.

9. Victron Energy SmartSolar MPPT 250/85 VE.Can

Solar charge controller SmartSolar MPPT 250/85

A solar charger is supplied with energy via solar panels and then stores it in batteries. Using the latest and fastest
technology, the SmartSolar maximizes energy harvesting and intelligently directs it to fully charge the batteries in as short a time as possible. The SmartSolar maintains the battery's functionality, extending its life. The SmartSolar charge controller can even recharge a severely discharged battery. It can operate with a battery voltage as low as 0 volts, provided the cells are not permanently sulfated or otherwise damaged.

MPPT: Ultra-fast maximum power point tracking

By continuously monitoring the voltage and current output of your solar panels, MPPT technology ensures that all available energy is drawn from the panels and stored. The advantage of this is most noticeable when the sky is partially overcast and the light intensity is constantly changing.

Remote monitoring and control

You can remotely control and monitor the extensive features of your SmartSolar MPPT charger with built-in Bluetooth by pairing it with your smartphone or other device via VictronConnect. If your installation is connected to the Victron Remote Management Internet portal via a GX device, you have full access to your MPPT anytime and from anywhere. Both VictronConnect and VRM are available free of charge. For remote installations, even if there is no internet connection nearby, you may be able to monitor your MPPT by connecting to the GlobalLink 520.

10. Victron Energy BlueSolar MPPT 100/30

The Victron MPPT 100/30 is part of the large family of BlueSolar MPPT charge controllers and, like its larger siblings, offers ultra-fast power tracking, which can increase the yield of your solar system. In addition to the greater charging and PV power, this Blue model differs even more from the lower models. The 100/30 controller has the ability to fully program and store various charging algorithms. The custom-created algorithms can then be directly selected via a switch knob on the housing. The load output directly on the controller is no longer present from this model onwards.

Compared to the smaller models in the BlueSolar MPPT series, the 100/30 offers overheating protection with a shutdown function and automatic restart once a normal operating temperature is reached. The high-speed MPP tracker of the latest generation significantly improves energy yield, especially in overcast conditions where light intensity constantly changes, by up to 30% compared to PWM charge controllers and by up to 10% compared to slower MPPT controllers. Additionally, the 100/30 features several other innovative technologies, such as the VE.Direct communication port.
