The KNX IO 546.1 secure (1D1O) is a compact combined dimming/switching actuator with a dimming output for active electronic ballasts featuring a 0/1-10V interface and a bistable relay output. The dimming actuator can be used for multiple active electronic ballasts, such as LED panels or strips. Each configuration allows for channel control through switching, relative dimming, and dimming value. Additionally, various comfort functions are integrated, such as scenes, snooze, stairwell lighting, and sequencer. The device optionally supports KNX Security.

The switching actuator provides functionality for universal outputs such as scene control, timer, stair lighting, and heating valves (PWM for thermoelectric valve drives). Two buttons and three LEDs enable local operation and visualization of the device status. In addition to the output channels, the device features 16 independent functions for logic or time control.
