Dew Point Measurement. The IR-SCAN-350RH/2 consists of an infrared thermometer with an integrated hygrometer and can be used to determine the dew point. When this critical value is reached or exceeded, there is a risk of mold formation. The device is very easy to operate with the push of a button. When turned on, it automatically measures the room air temperature and humidity. The resulting dew point now serves as a reference for non-contact IR measurements of potential mold risk zones. The device indicates where various insulation weaknesses need to be addressed to prevent resulting damp spots.

The dew point indicates the environmental conditions at which the humidity in the room condenses on surfaces. This condensate can become a breeding ground for mold. The dew point temperature is calculated from the three measured parameters: air temperature, humidity, and surface temperature. The dew point status is also displayed as a traffic light symbol (green/yellow/red) for easy reading.

Non-contact IR Temperature Measurement. The integrated infrared thermometer allows for non-contact measurement of surface temperature.
