UHU High-Temperature Silicone is a heat-resistant silicone suitable for sealing gaps, cracks, and joints. It can withstand temperatures of up to 180 °C permanently without damage, and short-term exposure to temperatures up to 300 °C is also possible. Additionally, it is resistant to moisture, cleaning agents, and chemicals, as well as to ozone and ultraviolet radiation. It features excellent adhesive strength without the need for a primer. It remains permanently elastic and cures even in the presence of moisture. This silicone is primarily used in the automotive sector. Furthermore, it is also effective for bonding or sealing in areas such as electronics and mechanical engineering. After use and before curing, it can be easily removed from work clothing and tools with water. UHU High-Temperature Silicone is perfectly suited for bonding and sealing materials in the automotive industry, including engines, housings, oil pans, transmissions, headlights, and pumps. It can also be used on materials from other areas, such as oven doors, air conditioning units, or boilers. However, it is not suitable for use with materials like PP, PE, Teflon, or substrates made of bitumen.
