The PRO Tankring A Revolution's Evolution

The PRO Tankring combines the innovative power of two German companies: the proven locking mechanism of the SW-Motech tank rings is now even easier to operate thanks to the magnetic guiding aid from Fidlock technology. The positioning of the upper ring has been significantly improved: the adjustable upper ring is already pre-mounted with a guide rail on the tank bag, so there is no need to drill into the tank bag. The upper ring can be individually aligned on the guide rail at the bottom of the tank bag. Once the suitable position is found, the upper ring is securely screwed in place. When switching to another motorcycle, the position of the upper ring can be adjusted accordingly.

The magnetic guiding aid, developed by Fidlock, complements the already refined mechanical locking mechanism from SW-Motech: the magnets guide the upper ring into the correct position on the tank ring, and the closure locks firmly in place. This way, the power of the magnets assists in placing the tank bag. With a single motion, you can attach the tank bag and hit the road. The luggage is secure, and it’s also fun.

The mechanical locking mechanism secures the tank bag, while the magnets bring the two parts of the ring together. The robust glass-fiber reinforced plastic with its high-precision locking geometry ensures that the tank bag remains firmly in place in all road conditions.
