What makes the ultrasonic sensor technology special: Objects present in a room are clearly recognized using ultrasound. The objects are surrounded by the waves but not penetrated – not even walls. Therefore, movements in adjacent rooms and offices do not lead to unwanted light switching in the hallway. However, movements behind objects located in the room are registered.
