The Modicon ABL8 Universal series of switched-mode power supplies is ideal for most industrial applications and is specifically designed for DC power supply in automation applications. The ABL8 product family stands out for its compact and robust design and includes power supplies with an output voltage of 24V DC. This 1-/2-phase power supply has a rated power of 72W, an input voltage range of 100-500V AC, and an output voltage of 24V DC/3A. The output voltage is adjustable from 24-28.8V DC. Additionally, this power supply features an overload capability of an extra 50% power through a boost function. The short-circuit behavior can be set to either manual or automatic reset. Furthermore, this device includes a diagnostic relay for under-voltage indication and 2 LEDs for status indication. The metal housing is mounted by snapping onto a DIN rail and includes a release lever. Due to the numerous existing product standards and certifications, it is suitable for international use.
