Product details
The Schneider Electric wireless Wiser water leak sensor is designed to be placed in areas where leaks are more likely to occur. When the device detects water at the surface level, it sends a notification of potential water damage to the user's phone. Additionally, the device provides a local audible alert, so the phone is not required for notification. For instance, a water leak sensor installed near water connections in a kitchen cabinet can alert a user who is away about the leak. The device can also automatically control other devices to turn off, such as using controllable Wiser sockets.
Wiser is an evolving smart home system that is easy to install and customize according to each home's needs and preferences. It allows residents to use their smartphone as a controller for the home through the Wiser by SE app. Wiser is compatible with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Siri services. All devices connected to the home can be viewed and controlled in the Wiser by SE app. The open and certified Zigbee 3.0 ensures expandability with third-party devices, with certification guaranteeing compatibility. This widely used standard involves over 450 manufacturers. Devices manufactured by SE can also be utilized in other applications. The solution can be easily expanded later with new SE devices.
Note: This is a ZigBee device and requires a Wiser smart home system central unit to operate.
