Product details

AFDD - Arc Fault Detection Device (Fire Protection Switch), Acti 9 iArc. Single-pole + N, up to 25 A. Switching capacity 10 kA, operating voltage 230/240 V AC. Upon detecting a dangerous series or parallel arc fault, the AFDD trips to disconnect the faulty circuit from the power supply. In addition to protection against arc faults, the device also protects against short circuits, overloads, and voltage surges. Arc faults can occur due to poor or damaged cable insulation or faulty connections and can trigger a fire. Standards: IEC/EN 62606.
