The DG-1 TCM is a microprocessor-based detector for narcotic gases, such as trichloromethane vapors. It is recommended for installation in areas like bedrooms, guard services, and security accommodations, where intruders might attempt to use narcotic gas to incapacitate residents before committing a burglary. Due to the nature of narcotic gases, which are heavier than air, the detector should be installed low, directly above the floor of the monitored room. The digital gas detection algorithm and temperature compensation function ensure proper operation over a wide range of ambient temperatures and provide protection against false alarms. The device detects when a certain threshold concentration of narcotic gas in the room is exceeded and triggers an alarm. With its built-in buzzer and blue LED, the DG-1 TCM detector can function as a standalone detection and alarm device, but it is also designed to be integrated into an alarm system. Thanks to the self-diagnosis function, the power supply status and the correct operation of the gas sensor are continuously monitored, ensuring reliable operation of the detector.
