These heaters are most commonly used in the plastics industry but are also suitable for applications up to 1000 °F. Oxidation-resistant high-temperature metal shielding. Particularly high-quality mica insulation provides excellent electrical insulation at high temperatures and is moisture resistant. The clamping band is made of low thermal expansion steel to maintain clamping pressure at elevated temperatures. Nickel/chromium resistance wire is evenly wound for uniform heat distribution and reliable accuracy. 10-inch standard fiberglass lead.
