The RS limit switch IP67 EM/EP series features easy-to-use electromechanical limit switches that offer special qualities and specially designed detection devices. These switches include features such as presence/absence detection, positioning, end position detection, passing objects, and counting. The EP series limit switches are made of thermoplastic material, while the EM series limit switches are constructed from zinc alloy sealed with epoxy resin at the base of the housing, ensuring IP67 protection.
Key features include visible operation, the ability to handle high currents (5 A conventional thermal current), electrically separated contacts, precise operating points for consistency, and insensitivity to electromagnetic interference. There is a choice of actuating heads, including simple plunger, roller plunger, and roller lever. Both plastic and metal enclosures are available, all meeting IP67 standards, with plastic enclosures being double insulated and all units being pre-wired.
