RS Pro bimetal hole saws feature a hardened cutting edge with 6 teeth per inch and alternating orientation, welded to a tough alloy steel body. The bonded construction reduces the risk of breakage. These saws are suitable for use with ferrous and non-ferrous metals, plastics, and wood to a depth of 32 mm. Saws with a diameter of 14 to 30 mm require a 6.5 mm shaft, while those with a diameter of 32 to 152 mm require a 9.5 mm shaft. Shafts, pilot drills, and core removal tools are available separately.
