The DuoFern motion detector is a wireless indoor motion sensor with an integrated, independently controllable actuator. It is ideal for monitoring movement inside houses, rooms, stairwells or corridors and thus implementing professional lighting control, for example. A detection angle of approx. 170° on two horizontal planes and a detection range of up to 10 m ensure reliable coverage of the motion field. The motion detector is especially designed for use in basements, storage rooms, guest toilets, corridors and stairwells. Simply replace the existing light switch! The wireless motion detector can be integrated into all common switch systems with the help of intermediate frames and thus replaces the existing switch or pushbutton. Thanks to intuitive operating buttons, the lighting can still be operated locally via the ON/OFF button. In addition, the motion detector offers the option of deactivating motion detection by simply pressing a button.

Thanks to the integrated DuoFern wireless interface, the wireless motion detector offers a wide range of applications. For example, the signal from the motion sensor can be used for other components in the HomePilot® home automation system. Furthermore, the additionally integrated actuator can be remotely controlled or automated via the various DuoFern transmitters. With a stand-by consumption of less than 0.6 W, the DuoFern motion detector is particularly energy-saving. Additional functions such as individually adjustable sensitivity, run-on time and a continuously adjustable brightness threshold round off the functions of the DuoFern motion detector.
