Hello all. I installed the Sony XAV 3005 DB today after having to buy several more adapters. But now everything seems to work (radio remembers stations, goes on and off with ignition, DAB and FM both work). The only thing that doesn't work is the USB port: Mobile phone does not connect and does not even charge. Does anyone know if this is due to the cable being connected incorrectly, or is it the USB cable that is broken? We have tried several phones (apple and android), all to no avail. Thank you!

It could be the handbrake signal. As far as I remember, Android requires the handbrake signal to be grounded for the configuration of the Android Auto app. Simply ground the handbrake signal cable. Then it worked for me.

Is this Sony mono car radio compatible with a 2012 Fiat punto abarth evo? Are the steering wheel controls retained? Are all cables included for a plugnplay connection? Is it possible to get the plastic trim from digitec?

We have checked the data and received feedback from the specialist department. In order to verify full compatibility, the customer should check with the vehicle manufacturer. We can only say what is in the packaging.
