Hi, there is a sticker with a QR code on the bottom of the battery compartment of the motor unit on delivery. Can someone who bought the machine on sale tell me which machine and which type is indicated? It says DCW600 / type 2 and not DCW604 as I would expect. Thank you.

Hello klaus1. I quickly went to the cellar to check my machine. It says the same as yours: "DCW 600 TY2". I assume that DCW604 basically refers to the machine with the case and the following capital letters mean what the set comes with. I hope I have been able to help you. So you haven't made a bad purchase, as far as I can see. And neither did I 👍

How long can you mill with a 5Ah/18V battery?

That’s a difficult question to answer, it would depend on the job you are doing but I find the 5ah battery lasts quite a long time.

Why are there two different types of DeWalt DCW604 at Galaxus? The offer includes [DeWalt 604 N-XY & DeWalt 604NT], each with different prices. Something is not right. According to the manufacturer DeWalt, there is only one type - the DeWalt 604NT-XJ. Is it possible that Galaxus has made a mistake here? I find it curious that even DeWalt doesn't know about two models.

Scope of delivery for DCW604NT-XJ: T-STAK Box VI, T-Stak Kitbox, 2x router module (for use as router and for edge router), rip fence, 2x extraction adapter for router and edgeround base plate for edge milling, 8mm collet chuck, 17mm guide sleeve, centring aid for guide sleeves, assembly tool Attention: DeWALT battery kit (18 V, 5 Ah) Unfortunately, I have not received any information from our supplier for the other model.

Hello, if I order this Dewalt router via SVH Handels-GmbH DE will I pay additional customs duties when it arrives? Or is the advance import tax of 27.46 CHF the only thing I pay?

No, there are no additional costs once the order is placed. The price at that time is the final price.

I can measure this for you in about a week (I have the identical router, but am on holiday). ALTERNATIVE SUGGESTION: I bought a router lift for my router table that takes 69mm cutters and built it into the table. This gives you all the convenience (height adjustment from above, positioning pin etc.) and you are not tied to a specific drilling pattern (e.g. if you change the router bit) and with a few recessed T-tracks you can easily make an adjustable fence with suction. I bought the GD7 PRO Router Lift from ENJOYWOOD (I even have 2 of them, a 69mm in the stationary router table in the table of the table saw and a 65mm in a small portable router table that I put on the workbench when needed (has a small VEVOR router in it and is mostly used for rounding off or routing edges)). The router table is great, very stable, solid, precise metal construction and works perfectly. It doesn't cost too much either and is currently available on sale for just over 120 (instead of around 300 or so). I bought it from banggood (yes, a Chinese shop, but a lot of their woodworking tools are very good - but they're not cheap either, just very good value for money). If you do some googling, you will also find a lot of reviews about the milling lift (a very good review series for "China tools" is from Hooked on Wood (Youtube channel from Holland). Ah yes: you get a template for the milling cut-out in the table, into which the levelling mounting corners are then screwed, so that you can set the Fräslift plate absolutely flat to the table.
