Product details
Pluggable lightning current and surge arrester combination (type 1+2/Class I+II arrester) consisting of protective plugs and base element for DIN rail mounting. Protection circuit for 1-phase power supply networks with separate N and PE (3-wire system: L1, N, PE).
Features include encapsulated spark gaps with ignition mechanism for triggering the response voltage, directly parallel connected varistors, and an additional pluggable sum current spark gap between N and PE. There is function monitoring for Class I and Class II arresters, disconnection of the individual L-N protection paths in the event of a fault, and operating current-free (mechanical) optical fault indication. Remote fault indication in the L-N paths for Class I and Class II arresters is available via a common potential-free changeover contact.
The basic element can be mounted with variable connections (outer conductor from above or below), and protective plugs can be inserted into the base element rotated by 180° (plug labeling legible). Mechanical coding of the base element and plug prevents incorrect insertion of connectors. There is a labeling option for protective plugs and terminals, as well as biconnect terminals for connecting round conductors and wiring bridges.
