With extensions for drive spindles, the shafts of grinding and milling tools are lengthened. They enable use in hard-to-reach areas and are clamped into the collet of the machine (pneumatic or electric drive) or into the handpiece of the bending shaft. Extensions for drive spindles are a cost-effective alternative to custom-made milling and grinding pins with long shafts.

Caution! When using spindle extensions, the applicable safety regulations and accident prevention regulations must be observed. When working with long shaft lengths, it is essential to insert the tool into the workpiece (e.g., holes, pipes, channels, or grooves) before switching on the drive machine. The extension must never run freely with the tool outside of the workpiece. Failure to comply increases the risk of accidents! Under unfavorable conditions, there is a possibility of the extension bending with the clamped tool. The extension is only suitable for manual use in conjunction with appropriate pneumatic, electric drives, or bending shaft handpieces for tools with standard shafts. It is used in conjunction with a tool approved for the corresponding speed in the impact-free collet of the devices. It must never be clamped on the transition radius. Clamping a second extension or tools with excessively long shafts is prohibited.
