This excellent binder, derived from flaxseed, produces pastes that are very pleasant to work with, cure quickly and deeply, and form very durable films of great beauty. Clear, low-acid, refined oil, despite its tendency to yellow in the dark, offers the best of linseed oil. It allows for the liquefaction of color and enhances its gloss. Thinners: white spirit or turpentine. When diluted, it can be used as a painting medium, with the risk of delaying the drying of the paint, as it can also impart a certain "stickiness" if used in excessive amounts.
