Thanks to the Active Feedback Sensing Technology (AFT), the motor stops immediately when the device is blocked, thereby protecting the user and their surroundings from accidents. The device is optimally protected against dust and splashes by the Xtreme Protect Technology (XPT). Additionally, the Makita angle grinder features Automatic Torque Drive Technology (ADT), which adjusts the speed during operation to meet any requirement for optimal performance. For maximum comfort and perfect working conditions, the DGA 513 includes a motor brake, soft start, and electronically adjustable speed. The brushless motor also ensures longer endurance and lifespan. The practical LED display warns of decreasing battery voltage and device overload.
