Product details

Universal repair system with a novel principle for broken glow plugs. This simple and user-friendly repair method offers a quick and cost-effective solution for disassembly issues of glow plugs through the use of a special left-hand cutting step drill with three jaws. The use of drill sleeves is eliminated compared to other systems. It is a customer-oriented solution that does not require cylinder head disassembly. Optionally, it can be expanded with commercially available impact hammers (M10x1.5) in a sturdy metal case. Application areas include Volkswagen, Audi, Seat, Škoda, Mitsubishi, Mercedes, Fiat, Peugeot, Volvo, Ford, Mazda, Citroën, and Opel.

Application steps:
1. Shear off the center electrode
2. Drill with left-hand cutting step drill
3. Cut left-hand thread M7
4. Clean thread M10 x 1
5. Remove glow plug remnants with impact weight.
