Knipex StepCut

Small, lightweight, and powerful: comfortable cutting without crushing and only 160 mm in size. Significantly less effort required: the stepped design cuts wires sequentially. Cutting is up to 40% easier than with conventional cable cutters of the same length.

Ergonomic handle design: optimal cutting feel even with larger cable diameters. Cuts multi-stranded, fine-wired copper and aluminum cables up to 15 mm (50 mm²). Cuts solid copper and aluminum cables up to 5 x 4 mm². Cuts without crushing.

Bonded connection: precise, effortless, and durable. Not suitable for steel wire and hard-drawn copper conductors. The cutting edges are additionally induction-hardened, with a cutting edge hardness of approximately 56 HRC.
