78 71 125 Electronic Super Knips are precision pliers designed for ultra-fine cutting work, ideal for electronics and fine mechanics. They feature ground, very sharp cutting edges without bevels. The precisely shaped tips allow for cutting wires close to a surface from a diameter of 0.2 mm. The shear cut is designed with controlled micro cutting edge misalignment for the most precise cutting of even the thinnest wires, ensuring a long service life. The joint is secured with a stainless steel rivet, providing extremely smooth movement to minimize operator fatigue. These pliers come with an opening spring and opening limiter, along with a lead catcher to prevent uncontrolled loss of cut wire ends. The cutting edges are additionally induction-hardened, with a cutting edge hardness of approximately 64 HRC. Made from special tool steel and burnished, the specifications include:
