The ratchet function allows for easy cutting of various cable sheaths. The versatile blade features three cutting areas for both circular and longitudinal cuts. The guiding shoe protects the insulation of the conductor beneath the cable sheath. It can cut very hard or tough plastic sheaths with a wall thickness of up to 7 mm. The sickle-shaped, replaceable hook blade can be folded in for safe transport. The blade has four positions: folded, straight, angled, and with ratchet. A three-stage blade locking mechanism ensures safe handling and transport. The ergonomically shaped handle provides comfort, and there is an integrated attachment point for use with the Knipex Tethered Tool System.
