The CITOREX E 38 2 RB 12 stick electrode is a low-alloy, rutile-based coated welding electrode that is particularly suitable for X-ray safe welding of root, fill, and cap passes. It is ideal for applications in pipeline, boiler, and vessel construction. With excellent gap bridging properties and climbing capabilities, this electrode allows for precise handling, even in constrained positions. This makes it a preferred choice in welding training. The CITOREX E 38 2 RB 12 is also well-suited for subsequent galvanizing or enameling due to its low silicon content. It is compatible with a variety of base materials such as unalloyed structural steels, boiler plates, and shipbuilding steels, and meets various approvals, including TÜV and DNV.
