Depending on the application, the material moisture u (based on dry mass) or the water content w (based on wet total mass) can be displayed. To measure, the device is simply placed on the material. The material being measured is neither destroyed nor damaged. In collaboration with renowned building material manufacturers, specific calibration curves for wood and building materials have been developed, which assist in moisture measurement and evaluation. In addition to visual moisture assessment via a bar display, an acoustic moisture assessment is also integrated. The measurement is conducted through a measuring plate on the back of the device. With the option to measure at two selectable depths (10 mm and 25 mm), it can be determined whether the material is already drying out or if it is surface moisture. Applications include wood, concrete, screed, plaster, etc.
