The Google Nest Doorbell (Battery) is one of the best video doorbells we've tested. It's a solid product that's easy to set up and precise to use. However, you also have to pay a premium price for it.

With the smart doorbell from the Nest product line, you are guaranteed not to miss any more visitors. Thanks to the built-in speaker and microphone, it also serves as a practical intercom. As soon as someone presses the bell, you will receive a notification on your smartphone. Owners of a Google Nest Hub also receive this notification directly on the smart speaker...

Google's Nest Dorbell delivers very good image and sound quality and can also be operated on battery power. Without a subscription, however, video recordings are only stored for three hours.
