Automatic or manual adjustment of the dimming principle suitable for the load (phase control or phase cut). Display of the selected operating mode via LED. Gentle switching on to protect the lamps. The brightness at switch-on can be permanently stored. Switch-on with the last set brightness or stored switch-on brightness. Minimum brightness adjustable. Electronic short-circuit protection. Electronic over-temperature protection. Operable with or without a neutral wire connection. Push-button dimmer. Combination with RF control attachment single/double for KNX: Dimming actuator channel single. Sensor channel single or double. Local control of the System 3000 module is possible. Wireless control of other devices for KNX as a sensor is possible. Function selection of the module: Dimming behavior and dimming curve adjustable, soft on and soft off function, fading function, stairwell function with switch-off warning, scene function (16 scenes), lock function, time delays. In principle, the operation of the dimmer is possible without connecting the neutral wire; however, some LED and CFLi light sources require the neutral wire connection to avoid flickering. When operating without a neutral wire, the minimum load for incandescent lamps, HV halogen, Tronic transformers, and wound transformers increases to 50 W. Electronic transformers and ballasts for LED light sources can be operated according to the dimming method specified by the manufacturer. If the ambient temperature exceeds 25 °C, the connected load must be reduced.
