A table can only be attached to a railing through the two elongated holes – similar to heavy picture frames.
This requires that the supporting screws are drilled into the railing or the balcony.
This can become problematic, especially with open steel railings with round bars. In this case, it is advisable to additionally mount a commercially available wooden beam with clamps or strong metal cable ties in front of the railing, to which the table can be attached.
