The anchor is installed using the Fischer HM-Z 1 mounting pliers in a pre-insertion method. The pliers pull the anchor against the panel building material in the hollow space. The expansion arms then fold out and press against the back of the panel. Alternatively, installation with a screwdriver or cordless drill is also possible. The metric internal thread allows the attachment to be secured and released multiple times.

During installation, the expansion arms fold out and press against the back of the panel. The HM can be installed with the mounting pliers. When using a cordless drill or screwdriver, the pre-installed screw must first be removed. For screwing in and expanding the anchor, the attachment or a tool (max. 6 mm) must be used simultaneously as a rotation lock.
