With the quick clamp FS-Rapid, the guide rail can be fixed to the workpiece using a side clamping mechanism. This is done with a single hand movement, which not only makes it very fast but also allows the rail to be secured on workpieces where clamps cannot be used. It saves time by enabling very quick fixation with just one hand movement. There is no need to walk around the workpiece to loosen or tighten clamps. Soft rubber contact points ensure protection for the workpiece and prevent slipping. The quick clamp can be used in all Festool guide rails in the clamping groove. The clamping force of the clamping screws can be adjusted. It can also be used when clamps cannot be employed, for example, when cutting apart carcasses.
