The modular SL4 safety tower from Eaton increases the safety, productivity, and availability of your machines and devices. These new signal towers, with their attractive rounded shape, also feature a 100 dB acoustic module for improved audibility and IP66 mounting parts that are impermeable even to strong water jets. The new fast mounting and wiring system of the SL4 signal towers enables simple and fast changes to the composition of the individual signal colors. The mounting adapter uses a bayonet socket so that the electrical wiring only needs to be connected once, allowing the lower part to remain on the machine. Various mounting options are available for applications with limited ceiling clearance or the need for different signals on the left or right side. Type approvals and certifications for Europe and North America have already been obtained; shipping classifications and CCC are still pending.

Available colors for the international market include red, yellow, green, blue, clear, and orange. Lighting variants include continuous light, flashing light, stroboscopic light, and variable stroboscopic light. High-performance LEDs provide greater brightness. Acoustic modules offer up to 8 different signals with adjustable volume for optimum adaptation to any ambient conditions. Protection class IP66 ensures protection against strong water jets from any direction. Modules can be changed quickly with a simple rotation, and the bayonet mount allows for quick and easy installation and removal. A transport cover is available for cables and connections. The product is available in 24, 120, or 230 V versions and features a slim design, ideal for installations where space is limited.
