The SL4 modular safety tower from Eaton enhances the safety, productivity, and availability of your machinery and equipment. These new signal towers feature an attractive rounded shape and include a 100 dB acoustic module for improved audibility, along with IP66-rated mounting hardware that is resistant to strong water jets. The quick mounting and wiring system allows for easy and rapid changes to the individual signal colors. The mounting adapter uses a bayonet mount, meaning electrical wiring only needs to be connected once, allowing the lower part to remain on the machine. Various mounting options are available for applications where ceiling clearance is limited or different signals are required on the left or right side. Type approvals and certifications for Europe and North America have been obtained; shipping classifications and CCC are pending.

Available colors for the international market include red, yellow, green, blue, clear, and orange. Illumination options consist of continuous light, flashing light, strobe light, and variable strobe light. High power LEDs provide greater brightness, while acoustic modules offer up to 8 different signals with adjustable volume for optimal adaptation to any environmental conditions. The IP66 protection ensures resistance against strong water jets from any direction. Modules can be quickly changed with a simple rotation, and the bayonet mount allows for quick and easy installation and removal. A transport cover is provided for cables and connections. The product is available in 24, 120, or 230 V versions and features a slim design, making it ideal for installations where space is limited.
