Cemo Vermiculite buffer/filler material, for dangerous goods packaging, 50 l sack
Product details
Vermiculite buffer/filling material for the packaging of hazardous goods, 50 l bag, 4.5 kg.
This buffer/filling material binds liquids and absorbs shocks for the packaging of hazardous goods, such as storage and transport containers for rechargeable batteries. It can absorb up to seven times its own weight and is temperature resistant up to over 1000 °C. It is non-conductive, non-flammable, and provides good thermal insulation. It is cost-effective, reusable, has no storage restrictions, and is safe for health.
Vermiculite is a natural product and 100% mineral. It is certified as non-flammable (building class A1, DIN 4102) and has good insulating properties against heat and cold. It cannot burn, making it ideal for use as fire protection. Its special structure prevents damage to sensitive objects, such as lithium batteries, and it immediately absorbs any leaking liquids, such as electrolytes from a lithium cell.
