Sandflex® bimetal hole saws perform excellently in most materials such as wood, plastic, iron-free and ferrous steels, including stainless steel. They are suitable for electric drilling machines, both stationary and portable. Side slits allow for quick and easy removal of cores. The maximum cutting depth is 38 mm, with 4 to 6 teeth per inch. All VIP hole saws come in cardboard packaging, with enclosed instructions. The maximum hole size is the nominal hole saw size plus 1.5 mm, minus 0.0. Extra large dimensions include 168 mm and 210 mm with 6 TPI and normal cutting depth, and 177 mm with 4/6 TPI, with a maximum cutting depth of 50 mm. All large hole saws cut with a 0° cutting angle for a less aggressive cut.
