With ABUS security bolts, the locking boxes typically accommodate the extended bolt on the right and left sides of the door. In cases of poor or tight structural conditions, the bolt can alternatively be embedded into the wall. To do this, the conventional bolt end piece of the security bolt is first removed and replaced with the end piece with round pin of the ABUS PWA2700. After drilling the appropriate holes for wall mounting, the steel strike plate of the ABUS PWA2700 is screwed to the wall. This provides the ABUS security bolt with a secure wall embedding.
