TEF5-ON is a frontal electronic timer designed to provide a timing function, offering a compact solution in the cabinet compared to separate timers, contactors, or contactor relays. A mechanical indicator displays the state of the contactor. TEF5 electronic timers connect directly to the coil terminals A1 - A2 of the contactor or contactor relay. An integrated varistor provides built-in protection against surges in the contactor coil. The TEF5 is available for a wide control voltage range of 24 to 240 V AC/DC. It allows time-delayed functions of up to 100 seconds across three distinct time ranges, independent of the control system. The time delay ranges are selected by a switch, and the time delay can be adjusted using a rotary switch. The timing function of TEF5-ON is activated by closing the device on which the timer is mounted.
