3M Centre Pin Back-Up Pad. 3M center pin back-up pads are used with Scotch-Brite surface conditioning discs. They are designed for the preparation and/or finishing of metal surfaces with fewer steps and in less time compared to traditional abrasives like grinding wheels and wire wheels. The center pin attachment system helps reduce tool vibration by centering, securing, and holding the disc in the correct position on the back-up pad.
