The length and diameter fit. The 1.5mm shorter almost certainly does not matter. But now the thread needs to be clarified. If your existing thru axle has a thread M12x1.5, i.e. a metric 12mm thread with a pitch of 1.5mm, then everything fits. The chances are great that it will fit.
