Question about Thule EasyFold XT 3
Can a 4-wheeler also be mounted on this model with an additional rail? And if so, what is the difference to the Velo Compact 3 model? And finally: which is the latest and most suitable model for 4 bikes?

My car, for example, has a maximum load of 75kg (not towing capacity) for the trailer coupling. The 'Thule Easy Fold XT 3' weighs 23kg, leaving 52kg for the bikes. With 4 bikes that would still be 13kg/ bike - which is rather low. That's why an extension wouldn't make much sense.
Otherwise: I think the carrier is ingenious, it was a good buy!

This model is only for 3 bikes and not expandable
