Does mobile payment via NFC also work in Switzerland? With my "old" SmartWatch, paying as a Swiss citizen with a Samsung watch in the EU version did not work because it was not possible to register the card.

Unfortunately, this function is not possible for EU devices. You would have to buy a Watch that is intended for the Swiss market.
