Can the watch be paired with the smartphone (Galaxy A41) even without GPS activated and can the display/brightness be turned off at night? And what about sports? Does the silicone material interfere or is it perfectly suitable for this?

Helpful answer

So I don't have GPS activated but it is connected to my phone (Samsung Galaxy S9). You can sync it at any time to view your stats etc on your phone. There is a night mode that I activate when I go to sleep. So the display is completely dark and not disturbing. The material is not disturbing at all, it is always very comfortable. I am very happy with my Fitbit Versa 2, but I would like to change to a smaller version at some point because the display is rather large and I often hit it somewhere. So far, only one small scratch because it is quite robust.
