Can recorded waypoints be exported? If so, in which formats (GPX, KML, etc.)? What about importing GPS data so that a route can be travelled or walked?

The fenix3 can be set up for auto upload via Wifi, then export from Garmin Connect as GPX, TCX, Google Earth or CSV. Data import via Basecamp (is then transferred to the fenix3 via USB), alternatively route creation in Garmin Connect (but no import possible there).

Yes, there are several possibilities: Tracks can be downloaded in all common formats via the Garmin website https://connect.garmin.com with which the watch can be synchronised. Waypoints can only be downloaded via the freeware software from Garmin BaseCamp.

Great watch with an incredible amount of possibilities and looks good too! I don't regret buying it.
