The Shimano XTR VAR bottom bracket tool is designed for the installation of the Shimano XTR M950 cartridge bottom bracket as well as the Ultegra (1998-2003) and Truvativ Isis Drive bottom brackets.

With this VAR tool, Shimano XTR, XT, LX, and STX-RC chainrings can also be mounted and dismounted using an optional guide (not included).
